In 2009 the two companies Gschwentner and Weinzierl merged and GW Cosmetics was established. For decades both companies have been successfully operating in the areas of development, production and distribution of cosmetic products (hair-, face-, body- and sun care).

Gschwentner - known for the worldwide leading eyelash and eyebrow tint brand RefectoCil – has been operating since 1930 in the area of professional hair care and hair dye products. The products, which are developed and produced in the own manufacturing plant in Austria, are today being sold in more than 65 countries worldwide. Besides eyebrow and eyelash tints the assortment contains hair dyes, perms, peroxides, bleaching powders, shampoos, conditioner and tonics.

Since 1954 the Austrian company Weinzierl has been specialised in the development and production of private label products in the segments of face, body and sun care. The focus lies in the development of modern formulations and packaging solutions and includes all steps from conception to delivery of the final product to the client.

Due to the merger of both companies GW Cosmetics can offer a very ample product range in the segments of hair-, face-, body- and sun care.
